The Steyr AUG (Armee-Universal-Gewehr/Universal Army Rifle) is an assault rifle in The ?!?! Game.

Design[]

The AUG sports a sleek bullpup design with a dark green camouflage by default. It has a Swarovski scope by default, but it can be detached and replaced with a MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rail. It also has a foregrip preattached, but is detachable.

Overview[]

The AUG utilizes 5.56mm/.223 caliber. It has a relatively low rate of fire at 650 rpm, but has a decently low recoil and good damage. Its range at 125m is among the highest of all assault rifles. Its iron sights are also great and an additional red dot sight isn't required. Reload time is at 1-1.25 seconds which is normal.

Attachment tips[]

Since the AUG has a low rate of fire, a rapid fire mod is recommended. When paired with the it, the rate of fire increases by 20% to 780 rpm, which is an average assault rifle's rate. Do not remove the foregrip as it actually helps increase the accuracy.

Mods[]

  • Short barrel: Replaces the barrel to the one similar to the AUG Para's.
  • Long barrel: Replaces the barrel to the one similar to the AUG HBAR's.
  • Rapid fire: Increases rate of fire to 780 rpm.
  • AUG to AUG HBAR conversion: This converts the gun to make it look similar to the AUG HBAR. The bipod is included in the conversion but if the player already has the bipod bought, the conversion cost is reduced. Range is increased due to the usage of the long barrel.
  • AUG to AUG Para conversion: This converts the gun to make it look similar to the AUG Para, but retaining the same 5.56mm/.223 caliber. Its range is decreased due to the usage of short barrel.

Trivia[]

  • This is the most balanced AUG version, when compared to the two other variants.
