WD Terra Proxima (designations RS 8474-1353-8-11843435-288 4 and NEO 12) is a warm Earth-like exoplanet with multicellular life that orbits a white dwarf, about 72.8 light-years (22.3 pc) from the Sun. It is the nearest inhabited Earth-like planet that orbits a white dwarf from the Sun.
It is proposed that the NOSE-P program should be more focused in colonizing this planet, along with other nearest unique planets to help making researches more consistent. However, ASA survey shows that the planet appears to be too blue and dim, with light intensity on daylight being relatively similar to Earth's sunset which could affect object visibility.
Like many other exoplanets, the atmosphere is too toxic to breathe and all researchers will require a special suit to ensure life support. Atmo-stabilizers are to be placed in certain spots throughout the planet.
